About the Owner
Hi! I’m Mike Tannahill. I started Mike’s Painting to help my PNW hometown community thrive. Painting has played a part in my life for over 15 years, supporting me through college where I ran my own painting company throughout the summers – I even paid rent for one whole year by striking a deal to paint the entire house I lived in.
I continued painting after graduating from WSU, and eventually made the switch to the other side of the register, becoming a store manager for Sherwin Williams. There, I learned that despite putting paint on walls for years there was so much more to it. Understanding the correct products and processes can make the biggest difference in the outcome. After 5 years as a Store Manager, my passion brought me back to painting. I perfected my methods by incorporating all the knowledge gained while working in the store. More importantly, I found that being able to help customers rejuvenate their home was more rewarding than I remembered.
Despite all the rain, helping those in the Puget Sound community take ownership of the home they will raise their family in, or even prepare their home to be sold so they can go on to the next chapter brings me a great deal of pride. All of this experience has allowed me to create Mike’s Painting, and I promise the outcome of whatever project you have will be amazing, that’s why I put my name on it!
